Heigh ho heigh ho! It's off to camp we go!!!
26 excited children and an extremely excited teacher are looking forward to learning about Australian History onCamp this week.
We have been busily preparing for Naplan next week by looking at tests from previous years, having a go and talking about our thinking.
We have been invited on a Field Trip to the Apple Store at Doncaster but the cost of the bus is a lot. Looking at maybe going in 6 parent cars or by public bus. Last year I was only able to take 8 children for similar reasons.
Apologies to parents for Assembly on Friday. I should have read the newsletter!!! I did late Thursday night and saw that we were having a 3-6 Assembly. Hope you enjoyed the dancing and got some great photos.

Good luck to those going to the Aths, enjoy the time in different classes and don't forget school photos on Thursday and Ride2school day Friday. I'll make sure the pouches go in school bags this morning

Second try! This weeks 'a' sound spelling words
Without my typo!!!! Tonight's task is to write out your words and underline the 'a' sound, be careful, it's not the letter but the sound! Wednesday night's task is to write half of your word list into sentences that show you understand their meaning. Thursday night's task is to do the same with the second half of your list and revisit the spelling of all words.
If you or your parents have an ipod/ipad/iphone and you have permission, please consider downloading an app called 'My Spelling Test:Free.'
We are looking forward to the House Athletics tomorrow. Have a great week.

I made a movie!
During the holidays I not only read many books I had an outing to the Apple Store at Doncaster and spent a session working on iMovie with Miss Kelly. We both had fun and learnt some new skills. Please enjoy my 3rd movie!
Great start to the year!
I have got to say that the children in 3/4 B are impressing me with their manners, their helpfulness to others and myself, their willingness to have a go and also have a laugh! Looking forward to learning more about you all! Well done on a great start to the year.
